Screenwriter Keith W. Strandberg "tailored" his script to Kurt McKinney and Jean-Claude van Damme and eventually both signed a contract. Nonetheless, neither McKinney nor van Damme turned up on the first shooting day! One figured out later that van Damme had taken over the leading role in Bloodsport whereas McKinney had got into arguments with the producers.

Where can I get NRNS on dvd?
Well, the movie has not been released in the States yet, but there plenty of versions elsewhere in the world, e.g. Australia, Skandinavia, UK and Germany. Hardcore fans shouldn't feel turned off by high shipping costs!

No, my own intensive researches have made it clear: There is no "usable" meaning European OST of No Retreat No Surrender.

Jason got to know Kelly last summer that she had spent at her grandma's in Los Angeles. Jason's fashionable appearance convinced Kelly into kissing the punk right away, no matter they had been in relationship before or not.

He's into this shower cap on a regular basis. Ergo, he wasn't having a shower when Jason arrived!

R.J.'s double gets into action whenever his alter ego is involved in any sort of breakdance action. Hence, the only question acceptable should be: Why didn't the double take over the whole part?

The karate mafia is pretty cruel. The only way to get rid of them is this one fight. Ian is convinced that he dealing with men of honor that certainly will stick to agreements made before.

It's pure angst because the awesome machine of annihilation could get near them as well.

Why does Jason wear a tracksuit when arriving to the fight?
He must have known that the Sidekicks were without a chance and that he was going to help them out.
Why does Ivan lose against the punk?
Punk Jason got rest throughout all the previous fights whereas Ivan already had to beat three opponents. He was physically disadvantaged when the son got into the ring.
L.A. karate IS impressive, isn't it?
Still not good! Everything Jason knows is Seattle-esque. His father is a loser anyway.
